Well most of you know that my family is crazy about animals. We have had all sorts throughout the years, ranging from ferrets to pheasants. Well who knew the most dangerous would be our most recent cat. LOL so here is the story... Last Friday night my mom was holding her cat Jade (barely a year old). She was antagonizing her (holding her tail and teasing). Well Jade had enough and bit my moms hand. The next morning I heard her going on about the damn cat and I told her she had it coming and that it was her own fault! I teased her all morning. Well later that afternoon her hand and wrist were super swollen! we kept an eye on it, and it didn't get any better. Austin had said that they have alot of bacteria in their mouths and that was probably the reason for all the swelling. My mom hopped on google and started looking at cat bites and read some scary info about how bad they can be. Well its five now and we are calling our doctor to get an appt. and of course they are closed. We decided to go to now care. So we get to the doctor and he said that if she would have came in any later that she would have needed antibiotics through a IV! Scary huh. They gave her a shot and some antibiotics and sent us on our way. I think my mom learned her lesson about messing with Jade kitty aka panther, toothless (the dragon) and kitters. Her hand is now back to normal!
